Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our premium architectural wood carvings and moldings.
What types of wood species do you offer?
We primarily stock items in Poplar and Red Oak. However, many of our profiles can be custom-ordered in Maple, Cherry, Walnut, and other premium hardwoods to match your specific project requirements.
How are shipping costs calculated for oversized moldings?
Due to the length of our moldings, many orders must ship via LTL freight. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the total weight and the destination zip code. Residential deliveries may incur additional handling fees.
Can I request a custom profile or design?
Yes, White River Hardwoods specializes in custom millwork. If you have a specific architectural drawing or a historical profile you need to replicate, our design team can create custom tooling to meet your specifications.
What is your return policy for architectural products?
Stock items in original condition can be returned within 30 days, subject to a 25% restocking fee. Please note that custom orders, curved moldings, and resin products are non-returnable.
Do you offer trade discounts for contractors and designers?
We value our industry partners. Professional contractors, architects, and interior designers are encouraged to apply for our Trade Program to receive specialized pricing and dedicated account support.
How should I store my wood products upon delivery?
Wood is a natural material that reacts to humidity. We recommend acclimating your products to the installation environment for at least 48 to 72 hours and storing them flat on a level surface to prevent warping.
